The tea ceremony in the Japanese tradition of cha-no-yu has been part of the cultural life of Schloss Thalheim for decades. The format connects the precision and mindfulness of Japanese tea culture with the contemplative character of the castle.

Tea ceremonies take place in various formats: as part of retreats, as standalone day events, and as an element of broader programs. While the tea house itself is currently closed, tea ceremonies are conducted in other suitable spaces on the estate.

Wine tastings at Schloss Thalheim present regional wines from Lower Austria — one of Austria's most significant wine regions. The Wagram, Kamptal, and Wachau wine-growing areas lie in close proximity to the castle.

Tasting formats range from private cellar tours to larger evening events in the Grand Hall or on the restaurant terrace.
