The Yoga Hall
A practice space
unlike any other
The Schloss Thalheim yoga and meditation hall is a dedicated practice space in the West Wing of the castle. At 120 m², it is flooded with natural light and features an original 16th-century wooden beam ceiling. The architectural combination — centuries-old carpentry with a space designed for body and mind practice — creates an environment distinct from purpose-built modern yoga studios.
The hall accommodates up to 30 persons for group sessions. It is used for yoga classes, Qi Gong, breath work, and multi-day retreat programmes. A separate, smaller meditation room provides a dedicated quiet space for contemplative practice.
The estate's 7 hectares include a formal Baroque garden, rose garden, Zen garden, and walking park. The High Baroque chapel — designed by Jakob Prandtauer, architect of Melk Abbey — is used for meditative concerts, ceremonies, and silent sitting. The spa rounds out the wellness offering with two Finnish saunas, a steam bath, and individual treatment rooms.
