Amphitheatre
The Schloss Thalheim amphitheatre is an open-air stage set within the gently sloping park of the estate. It serves as a venue for concerts, performances, cultural events, and outdoor programs under open sky.
The Setting
The amphitheatre uses the natural topography of the park hillside: the gently sloping gradient creates the classic seating arrangement of an amphitheatre, in which the audience overlooks the stage from an elevated position. The park forms the natural frame and backdrop for performances.
The open-air stage complements the indoor spaces of the castle and allows events to take place within the landscape of the 7-hectare estate. The amphitheatre is part of the cultural events program of Schloss Thalheim.
