The Space

Meditation Room

A quiet, pared-back space — the Meditation Room at Schloss Thalheim is held apart from the activity of the broader estate and dedicated entirely to inner practice. Nothing here competes for attention. The room exists only to support stillness.

The Room

The Meditation Room has been thoughtfully stripped of distraction. Its design is intentionally minimal — surfaces calm, light diffuse, acoustics soft. The effect is not emptiness but presence: a room that meets you as you arrive and holds the conditions for inner work without imposing anything upon them.

Within the broader landscape of Schloss Thalheim — an estate shaped over centuries for retreat, reflection, and renewal — the Meditation Room represents the most dedicated expression of that purpose. It seats up to 15 persons in meditation formats and accommodates guided practice, silent sitting, and individual use within retreat programmes.
